Terms of Service

1. The service

Scenematics creates AI-generated images that place the people in a photo you upload into a themed scene. Results are synthetic images, not real photographs, and outcomes vary — especially for group photos or partially visible faces.

2. Eligibility and minors

You must be 18 or older to create an account, purchase credits, and consent to processing. A parent or legal guardian must upload on behalf of any minor and provides consent to the minor's biometric processing on their behalf.

3. Your content and your responsibility

You grant us a limited license to process your uploaded photo solely to provide the service. You warrant that you have the right to upload the photo and the consent of every person depicted. Do not upload photos of third parties without their consent, public figures or celebrities, anyone in an unsafe or sexualized context, or any unlawful content. You indemnify us for content you upload in violation of these terms.

4. Prohibited use and moderation

We screen all uploads and outputs. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse material: it is blocked, preserved as required by law, and reported to NCMEC. We may refuse service or terminate accounts for violations. Impersonation and deceptive deepfake uses are prohibited.

5. Credits and payments

Credits are prepaid, have no cash value, and are non-refundable except when a generation fails for technical reasons (refunded automatically) or where required by law. Payments are processed by Stripe. Pricing is shown before purchase.

6. Output ownership and watermark

You may use your generated images for personal, non-commercial purposes. Outputs carry a partner watermark. We do not use your photos or outputs for marketing without your separate opt-in consent. AI-generated images may resemble but are not photographs of real events.

7. Takedown

To report content that violates rights or these terms (including images of you shared by someone else), contact support and we will review and remove promptly.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, USA. We will notify account holders of material changes; continued use constitutes acceptance.
